How do I book Muzic Mixx for my event?
That's Easy! First find out if we are available on that date. This can be done by
checking our calendar available from the home page. For more information on

No date is held until a deposit of $100 is received along with signed agreement.

Yes! Absolutely! We always welcome potential clients to view us in action. Please
provide us with an advanced notice to make sure we are in your area.

When are payments due?
Deposits are due thirty (30) days prior to the event date. Deposits and balances
are payable to Muzic Mixx and can only be accepted in form of cash, check, or
money order. Remaining balances are due the night of the event.
When do I fill out the planning sheets?
We recommend that you fill them out at least six (6) weeks prior to the event
date. We may send you reminders and a final meeting or phone conversation
may be scheduled to go over final details.
What layout or area is needed for the deejay to set-up?
An area of at least 5 foot by 9 foot is needed for sound system and light
package. Ultimate package will need an area of at least 5 foot by 13 foot. We
do ask that you provide us with one table. Extension cords are provided by
deejays, however we will need two separate circuits to run our powerful
equipment.
What if we are also considering having musicians as well?
We are experienced in working along side live musicians and our
professional deejays are more than accomidating to ensure smooth
flow of music throughout the evening.

How do you determine who will be my deejay?
We use the information you provide to choose which deejay would be
right for you. We keep in mind the musical preferences, involvement,
and style to best cater to your expectations
Am I able to meet with my deejays prior to the event?
Absolutely! We give the oppourtunity for our clients to meet with
their deejay prior to the event to go over details and to become more
aquainted with and comfortable with your deejay.
What do our deejays wear?
We constantly keep a very professional image. For formal events we
wear shirt, tie and dress pants. For an informal event, we wear tan
pants and our Muzic Mixx shirts. However you can request that your
deejay fits the theme of your party!
Where does Muzic Mixx find it's deejays?
Muzic Mixx has a close knit group of deejays who rarely ever change.
Our deejays have a broad background in the music field and their
knowledge and experience adds up to over 40 years! We do not do
any outside hiring!!! This means the deejay at your event is someone
who I have seen perform in the past and know that their skill level is
beyond what is the norm in the entertainment field.
Should we tip our deejays? When?
We do not have mandatory gratuity policy. Therefor tipping is purely
up to the client. However if a deejay goes well beyond your
expectations, it's always nice to say thanks. Tips can be given anytime
throughout the night.
What happens in the event of an equipment failure?
We have a back-up system in effect to ensure that this does not
become a problem. We have technical assistance available to any of
our deejays, even though our deejays are trained to deal with any
equiment problems. We also do weekly quality checks of our gear!
Do you charge extra for set-up and tear down time?
Set-up and tear down time is included in our packages. Deejays will
arrive one hour prior to event start time to allow for set-up and final
planning. However please notify us if the equipment will need to be
relocated throughout the night. This occurs for example when cocktail
or dinner is in a different room than the reception. If equipment is to
be relocated during the evening a $75 charge will be added.
Can we plug into your equipment?
Yes! Our professional equipment is very versatile and can be adapted
to work with any piece of audio equipment. Please let us know in
advance so we can have proper adaptors or make sure you have the
cords that night.
How much power does Muzic Mixx's equipment use?
Power usage is as follows:
Sound Package uses one fifteen (15) amp circuit.
Party Package and Ultimate Pacakges use two fifteen (15) amp
circuits, although we recommend 3 fifteen (15) amp circuits for
Ultimate Package. Muzic Mixx is responsible for providing any and all
extension cords needed. However please inform us if you are aware
that long runs are necessary.
What kind of music is in your library?
We carry over 15,000 songs on hand from every genre to cater
towards any type of crowd. We are able to play music from country,
polka's, waltz's, swing/big band, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, right
up through today's hottest hits.
Do you take requests?
Yes we do! We are more than happy to take any requests from you
prior to the event as well as from any guests that night. We have
on-hand top hits lists for your guests to browse through.
What if a song I want is not in your muzic database?
We are more than happy to aquire any songs that you wish to have
played with advanced notice. We do have over 15,000 songs, but we
can't have them all. But we like to try! Also feel free to bring any
music to your event for the deejays to play.
We have a special cd for our event. When do I give this to the deejays?
Cds can be mailed in advance or brought to your event the night of.

What kind of music do you suggest for dinner/cocktail/social times?
We always choose music that is best fit for your audience, or you can
even choose your own. Some typical artists we play during
dinner/cocktail time are Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Wayne Newton,
Norah Jones, Dave Matthews Band, etc. Ask us for more ideas!
Does Muzic Mixx provide ceremony music?
We have provided for many ceremonies both on and off-site. We even
offer different song ideas available to you. Additional rates apply. Each
event will vary.
My guests are movin non-stop! How do we get Muzic Mixx to play extra
time?
Schedule permitting, additional time may be purchased at a rate of
$100/hour or $50/half hour paid directly to the disc jockey.
